Vivel Crepes & Coffee

Project Overview

Vivel Crepes & Coffee is a European cafe with artful plating, delicious crepes and great coffee, and pride in fresh ingredients. Their commitment to quality was honed in a series of restaurant concepts before arriving to the Austin, TX area.

Challenge

The client wanted to evoke a series of feelings through its branding: living life to the fullest, seizing the moment, and celebrating life every day. We were poised with the question of how to translate these feelings and a sense of European culture in order to captivate a Texas audience.

Solution

Immersing ourselves in a European getaway mindset, we conceived the idea for the logo by offering a visual suggestion: You are sitting in Paris, and there's a reflection of the Eiffel Tower on your coffee... because you are just that close. Evoking a sense of place and a special moment,   this imagery drove our concepts for website building, store graphics, wall menus, uniforms, advertisements, and the restaurant's focal point, a Parisian artwork based on the logo.
